MONICA HEUSER (Understudy) “Moe” rocked the Twin Cities last year as “Janis Joplin” in the 2007 Ivey Award-winning at the Ordway Center for the Performing Arts! A Kentucky native, Moe delights audiences nationwide with her portrayal of another music legend: “Patsy Cline” in the ongoing National Tour of A Closer Walk with Patsy Cline, and in Always, Patsy Cline. She recently spent the summer in beautiful Door County, WI at American Folklore Theatre performing in 3 original musicals: A Cabin with a View, Fishing for the Moon and Lumberjacks in Love. Other notable credits include: “Amanda” in the World Premiere musical See Jane Vote, and “Roxie” in Loose Lips Sink Ships (American Folklore Theatre), Twelfth Night (Guthrie Theatre), “Prudie” in Pump Boys & Dinettes (Tour) and “Sketch Nurse” in The Sunshine Boys National Tour starring Dick Van Patten & Frank Gorshin. Honors include a BFA degree in Theatre (cum laude) and being chosen to attend the 2005 Cabaret Conference at Yale University culminating in a performance at Yale’s New Theatre. Moe also continues to produce one-woman shows such as Under The Covers: A Pop/Rock Cabaret and Falling To Pieces in theatres across the nation.
